EVIHDAF is an Africa-based and Africa-led research and development organization whose mission is to build, strengthen and expand the evidence base for sustainable human development systems in Africa. EVIDAF strives to enhance global, national, and local initiatives to become more efficient, effective, and cost-effective at improving population health and well-being. Headquartered in Yaoundé, Cameroon, EVIHDAF serves the West and Central Africa region, bringing together a multidisciplinary team of national and international, English, and French-speaking consultants and researchers who combine innovative thinking, rigorous approaches, ability to think global, and expertise to act local.

EVIHDAF offers services in Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning; Data, Analytics, and Information Systems; Social and Behavior Change strategies. They work with programs and initiatives in three overlapping areas: Health and Health Systems, Nutrition and Food Security, Agriculture, and Livelihoods. EVIHDAF Values programs that support women’s and girls’ empowerment, strives to bridge the equity gaps and adopt a participatory approach by involving target communities and beneficiaries.

EVIDHAF has expertise in mixed-methods research and evaluation, effectiveness analysis, evidence synthesis, and integration of evidence-based practices into policy and practice, with USAID funding in RMNCH+N and malaria.

EVIHDAF will ensure locally led and effective regional research activities in the West Africa Hub.
