The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a locally owned, globally connected, civil society movement with accredited local members covering 129 countries, working towards quality and respectful clinical services and engagement of male partners, while mobilizing women’s reproductive agency.

IPPF is a global healthcare provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all.  Founded in 1952, by a group of determined and courageous group of women, at the third International Planned Parenthood Conference. IPPF’s work is wide-ranging, including comprehensive sex education, provision of contraceptives, safe abortion, and maternal care and responding to humanitarian crises. They take pride on being local through their members and global through their network. At the heart of their mission is the provision of advocacy in support of integrated healthcare to anyone who needs it regardless of race, gender, sex, income, and crucially no matter how remote.

IPPF will provide technical assistance in improving gender and nonbinary inclusivity in FP/SRH clinical care and research including, drafting guidance product on improving gender and nonbinary inclusivity in Family Planning/Sexual Reproductive Health clinical care and research for USAID programming, USAID staff, and Implementing partners.
