Strengthening Agency with Local Partners

Through efforts to forge equitable partnerships, Agency for All seeks to internalize agency within our own work.

We apply iterative learning to develop, implement, and assess strategies to strengthen partnerships and amplify local voices. We explore questions such as:

  • What values and approaches foster local leadership and equitable partnerships?
  • How do localization efforts affect our ability to achieve project results?
  • How can partners navigate power differentials while holding each other accountable?
  • What are the most important barriers or facilitators to localization in complex research partnerships?

Project learnings will inform the localization agenda within global health and development efforts.
